Yes .been running that combo for years, parts for that carb are readily available the vacuum secondary carb is a good allrounder because when you are tootling around it runs on 2 barrels but when you stamp on the gas it opens up another 2 barrels giving better performance

Aft fluid is OK to top up with BUT power steering fluid should be the main ingredient (as previously stated , it has seal swelling properties)
I had the same problem for years, then added 'leak stop' and it has not leaked for the last8 years!!!!

Sad news that Bob Tyreman passed away last week.
He was a founder member of the American Auto Club, a true ambassador for the club and a really nice guy, he will be sadly missed by many

Always used atf fluid in my Aussie charger, ..and it always leaked out of the power steering box,.......researched and found out that it is ok to top up with atf but initial fill fill should be with dedicated power steering fluid ( apparently it contains seal swelling properties!) .I drained the sys...

Hi remember the American flywheels have a different number of teeth to the Aussie ones , so check first to find out which flywheel is fitted to your car, the starter motors can be interchanged by changing the pinion over!

I also agree,......if you can get hold of another rh exhaust manifold, then bin the left hand one ( the one with the heat riser ) and replace it with the other rh one ( the castings are the same just one is machined out for the riser) ( mine are casting no 2843953 I have got one if you need it but d...

When you checked the trans oil did you check it hot?......needs to be checked at working temp (as oil heats up it expands and will pour out of breather if checked cold !)
