Inner sill trims.

Can anybody recognise these inner sill trims,
They are not duster or Dart but possibly barracuda?
The shorter one in the pic is duster/Dart for reference.
Cheers.

Re: 71 duster project.

Thanks for the positive comments guys. Next job will be to remove the screens and complete dash assembly, then start on metal work, once that’s done it will get sand blasted. I know what you mean chris about shinny paint but as there is no patina it will get painted.you just need to start using your...

Re: Speedo cable connector.

Mine is bolted to the drivers inner wing, it’s in good nick so it will go back on.
I also have one on the Dart as well but didn’t know that about bringing the marker lights, will check it out.
Cheers.

Your an encyclopaedia of info Dave,[emoji3]
But to be honest I would chuck it in the bin if I had a one piece cable.[emoji106]

Re: Speedo cable connector.

Did a bit of research and apparently it’s a centrifugal speed switch that is part of the smog system, it provides a ground when the vehicle reaches 40 mph.
Part no 3438494.
So your both right chaps.
Cheers .

Re: Speedo cable connector.

Pretty sure this is stock blue,
Both my Dart and duster have them.????????

On a side note what’s the best oil to use down the cable, I was thinking something like 3 in 1 .

Re: Lower door hinge pin replacement.

All the ones I’ve done in the past and and these on the duster are worn on the inner and outer,
So they will get the oversized stainless steel pin.
Interesting replies though chaps,
Thanks a lot.
Richard 👍😀
