Yes we are, so I need to try to be able to offer some back up for the additional cars that we will see in our midst. We have joined up this week a 49 Chrysler, a 1995 New Yorker and mot long ago a 57 Imperial Southampton.

Flat heads

Anyone know anything about early Chrysler flat heads. A new member has a 49 Chrysler and wants some info on basic tuning, plug gaps, what oil to use , basic servicing etc.
Please help.
Any replies here or e-mail me please & I will pass on.

Yes, as Paul said, the MMA have a stand , Dean is sorting it out, and will have all the club banners etc and T shirts. mugs , etc. I know because we just took it all up there! My fave car of the Nats will be on the stand too, Adrian's 71 Roadrunner in curious yellow (the one he let me drive!)

I just stripped a head on a Triumph that had been running unleaded with additive for 4 years, it was a magnesium based one I think (name escapes me for now), and the whole lot is gummed up so the valves wont shut and the seats have burnt. It also seems that the company making the stuff are now hard ...

Im with Guy on this, Ive had electric problems, my orange box was intermittent, checked out OK on a tester but after leaving it connected to the tester it stopped working. Some electrical component may be breaking down with heat soak possibly?? My Holden did the same too, but that was the crank sens...

Truly fabulous weekend, definitely the best Nats yet, despite no Mopar of our own there. So good to put faces to names and meet so many MMA members, plus recruiting 18 more over the weekend. Club stand was a good place to be for meeting people and seeing the racing, it was also close enough for Mart...

For me the favourite of the weekend was one not listed so far, Adrian Wilds Curious Yellow 71 Roadrunner, I have always loved this car with airgrabber and Go- Wing, and over the roof strobes, and Saturday afternoon Adrian threw me the keys!! Having never driven a B body I was very very careful, and ...

Will , I might want that eng/box combo for my Triumph Herald, it may have a bit more poke than the Toyota Twin Cam lump fitted at present. Bear me in mind if one comes up, what power are they ??
The Toyota is 118bhp approx with a 5 speed box.

Ive only just spotted this thread and it is a goodie. The MOT bit is interesting, when I MOT'd the Aussie Charger, it had a single silencer side exit exhaust and is very loud. The tester said that he has never tested or seen a vehicle similar to this so he cannot say it is too loud for this type. He...

AACI - Billing All Club Nationals

August 13/14/15th at Billing . This is a new event for AACI, at their usual event venue so everyone knows where it is and what its like. It should be a success and a good chance for Mopars and the MMA to be seen out in force. MMA will be there, and we should all be able to park together, with (hopef...

Ah Yes, the joys of welding , I love it . The blob in the ear is a favourite , but what about the big blob that goes down your arm through the hole in the welding gloves that you keep meaning to replace . I always find the blobs run right down your arm leaving a nice tracer trail down your arm, the ...
