Re: Floyd Brothers 70 Challenger

It’s a nice rust free car but it has been in the wars as it turns out. Rear drivers chassis rail had taken a hit and was properly mangled. Section cut out reworked and welded back in, still looks a bit Frankenstein until I properly finish it.

Re: Floyd Brothers 70 Challenger

Prop loop made and fitted, bolts are tacked in from the top for easy removal. I consider this an essential if you are going down the track, certainly saved some damage when my yoke let go.

Re: Floyd Brothers 70 Challenger

First job as usual is interior and heater out, hopefully that’s as much stripping down as is needed.

Re: Strut Rod Bush?

I’ve never had any luck with poly strut rod bushes fitting properly so I use rubber.

Re: Strut Rod Bush?

It’s usually just a 2 piece bush with no spacer. No lock nut either.

Re: Blue's Barracuda

Thanks Pete, still need to “restore” the headrest and dye it blue to match the rest. I’ll cut my other headrest down to swap in for road use.

Re: Blue's Barracuda

Wasn’t happy with the cage so Andy kindly altered it to how I originally envisaged it.

Re: Floyd Brothers 70 Challenger

It’s not that hard to get a decent finish that’s good enough under hood, painting bodywork proper takes a lot more practice!

Re: What am I looking at?

I knew some parts interchanged but I didn’t know the LA heads could be swapped on.
