In the 650 or so miles I cover in an average week I usually see one traffic cop. Then I drove the Shelby to work for a couple of days with no front plate at all ... saw 8 of them in 2 days, none pulled me lol

I've just ordered stamped metal "Jap" plates for the Shelby from Platemyride.co.uk (a German company who take Paypal) 1" wider and 1/2" taller than US spec, but legal for imported cars as they have UK lettering on etc and they look pretty good all things considered, with a border...

I've met quite a few GM F-body owners who use their cars as daily transport, so they can't be all that bad. Also, of course, you can ditch the emissions gear and sort the engine without too much ado, which does make 'em quick enough to be fun

Plymouth had the awesome "Super Coupe" and of course there was the Dodge Lil Red Express and Midnight Express etc.
