Thanks Guys, I know they aren't great; just a temporary measure to hopefully get us out earlier for some track time.

Max cam/lift height?

Hi there, please can any one advise on the maximum cam lift that "Edelbrock performer RPM" Big Block heads can support without machine work? This is also complicated by the fact that the motor will have 1.6:1 Roller Rockers. I have tried the Edelbrock web site which was worse than useless ...

I undo the Strut rod and the LCA nut and use a pry bar between the "K" frame and the LCA to push the torsion bar out - no violence and no scratching :thumbright:

I would think USAutomotive could do that from stock - it will be listed under a "Valliant".

You could buy Julie's '62 Dart (or my '62 Belv) and make a CHEAP Max Wedge clone 8-) 8-) :thumbright:

I have seen shoes down to the rivets due to people "two-footing", damaging the drums.

If I was planning on visiting the strip, I would fit a line lock to the front brakes. :thumbright:

If I wanted to impress people on the street, I would grow up ;)

Just messin ;)

A torqueflight :thumbright: I used Centreforce clutches in both 18 & 23 spline configuration. Light pedal throw; you have to shorten the travel to stop them "turning inside out". A block under the carpet will do this. Not really up to it on the strip in my opinion.........and expensive.

The Fenders that Topbanana is taking off are in better nick than those.

I always worry when I see rot in the "A" pillars......

Is this a DIY job or are you going to put it in to a body shop?
