Well any pre 73 A body ones fit BUT the arms never had any threads to start with, just a starting thread .....! the balljoints cut the thread as you put them in. so that mess will get crushed/smeared into a new thread that may or may not be good enough arms are relativly soft, deliberatly, they bend...

same effect yes, not sure about oreintation for wireing it in so it activates... depends on type i think, and much harder to get correct size because the earth strap carries everything...

I think you got it about right, its in the 100s Me accurate haha probably not ballpark well yeah maybe :) starter can pull the full cold cranking amps of the battery for a split second, which is a lot. ok lower stud not aligned to put back in.... that would imply that the end of the starter isn't in the hole in the base of the starter well in the bell... OR was this with the seal shim in place ....! in which case it moved and blocked off the hole it will just clonk in and feel RIGHT when its in.. ...

Ahh so they have hidden everything in there but left the case configuration the same as standard? hence confusement. the 1 wire jobby needs to see battery voltage then it can decide what to do with no battery voltage it does nout becasue the internal regulator isn't powered up basically the section ...

you are kinda local if you need pinions to try, let me know... i'm in newcastle for 2 weeks at the mo working from my mums while shes away on her hols, i'm looking after elderly relative in between meetings :) But if you need the bits i'l let my wife know, as they are on the desk where i photographe...
