Driver side front wing needed a lot more repair than the other as we already had a replacement. Only prob with the pass side was/is that it's off a 68, so Steve had to cut out the side marker area from the original and graft it in place of the replacement's.

Mark
Have a look at this colour chart, see if theres mention of any of the colour codes on your fender tag.
If you say it was dark green, might find an F8 stamped on it, that seems to be the darkest green.
Keep this jpeg, might prove useful when you come to look for new paint.

oops doubled up on one there.
As you can see from some of the pics, original colour was Spanish Gold Y4 i think. I'm sure Stu will correct me if I'm wrong. There were about 3 other colours still on the car including the Volkswagen green and a white.

Thanks Sandy The guy with his back to us in that pic, with the no-expense-spared team t-shirt, was the CH owner, Paul Mander. T'was a lovely car, a/c, electric seats, etc when he got it. But gradually got dtripped of its creature comforts in favour of go faster goodies. Paul eventually moved on to a...

'Lucky' I'm in between jobs at the mo, otherwise this could take forever. Around 1990 we were going to a gym in Hendon that was also being used by Mark Wilsmore, who, as some of you will know, has since then gone on to re-open and run the Ace Cafe. Turned out that Mark was into his American cars (&a...

At the time, our mate Paul Mander was having his 360 in his Aus CH Charger built up for racing in Sportsman class by Clive Bond of Ultimate Race Cars. His other customers were Dave Mingay (Hellraiser) and Graham Barrs (Neon Star), so were keen to 'let' him build up a big block for us. After a couple...

Rob & Stu's 69 Sport Satellite

Just dragged myself into the 20th century and got me scanner up & running so thought it about time to post some old pics of our Satellite. Plenty more to come over the coming evenings, I'll try not to bore ya too much :? Saw the car in an ad in the Auto Trader, advertised at £1700. Went to see i...

Thanks guys, Dave, yes we did import them. If we'd had our act together a few weeks, (ok, a couple of months) earlier, we could have brought them back with us from our trip to Florida in October. That would have saved a bunch as you know, but the delivery took about 10 weeks altogether, so presumabl...

New seat covers....sunglasses req'd

New seat covers for the Polara arrived last week, from Legendary. Very pleased with the quality, we were worried that the carpeted parts on the covers wouldnt match the new carpet in the car but it looks ok. Shame to have to replace the vinyl thats there but its mainly the foam that needs replacing ...
