Re: Mopar EuroNationals 27/28/29 July. Santa Pod Raceway

Well the weather was rubbish.. What a bummer after all those weeks of sunshine the weather had to break over our weekend. It would have been a great Nat's too. Well, poop happens every so often... we do live in England. Over the weekend several people asked me if this year was going to be the last N...

Re: MOPAR EURONATIONALS..SANTA POD SOON

Just a reminder..... if you would like to run your car up the quarter mile: Another change at the Mopar Nat's for 2018 is the Top Sportsman cars have moved their series to Rockingham, so they won't be at Santa Pod Raceway. This clears a lot of track time. If you want to run your car up the 1/4 mile ...

Re: Mopar EuroNationals 27/28/29 July. Santa Pod Raceway

The Mopar Nat's is getting closer. It's nice the Nat's don't clash with the Silverstone Classic this year. That means I can take my car to both events.... Silverstone and the Mopar Nat's.... Which car's that Jim? Convertible Challenger? Not the Merc i presume   Errr, probably my Mustang...

Ah, But I see from other posts that you have a South African (Australian made?) Dodge. In that case my post about the engine number is probably wrong. Sorry about that!

Re: How should a chrysler 383 big block engine number read on the DVLA regestration ducument?

The stamped number on the block is the one GP20737. No, this isn't right. If the engine is original to the car the serial number will be part of the VIN, e.g: 1G123456 1 is the model year (1971). G is the assembly plant (St Louis?). 123456 is the 6 digit serial number from the VIN of the car (e.g: ...

Re: New Demon Order

The Demon is certainly bonkers. But so is the Hellcat. I went to the 2016 Mopar Nat's (USA) in a Hellcat.... Loads of fun and better value for money I reckon.

Re: 3 D printing

Me too, I know very little about this technology but had assumed it would become cheap and widely used. Well that’s true of course. Over the years I have seen the technology improve greatly, in model quality and resolution, and while the lower end has got cheaper, the high end machines have just go...

Re: 3 D printing

I own a company that has been selling and servicing professional 3D Printers for over 15 years... The small low cost FDM machines print low resolution plastic models that don't stand close scrutiny. They are certainly not of any use for producing quality items. When you go up the scale to much more ...

Whoever told him that? TBH I think the 318 is a waste of space.... for the amount of work involved.
Anyway, he's got a better chance of getting a Ford to fit.
