Still haven't cut off the exhaust tips  Rear bumper had a bad dent in it. Got a replacement 2nd hand but straight bumper on which the chrome was very poor but that was fine as I wanted to weld up and smooth out the bumper bolts and over rider holes and paint it body colour anyway.... Just got t...

Make sure when you do change the bushings for the LCA, check the K frame for any cracks, especially where the LCA connects to the K frame, that area is prone to cracking, mine cracked and sounded like a an old bed ,and drove like a tractor, be sure to check ;) Good point - thanks..... We'll check t...

should they be a tight fit on the pins Did you make sure you did not torque them up until the car was resting on the ground at ride height? Yes as that was our mistake first time round when the bushes only lasted about 2 weeks !! So yes we renewed them again and only torqued all the various nuts up...

Mmm I did wonder about the strength of those 'hollow' pins...thanks.

The question is really about the original sleeved rubber bushings - should they be a tight fit on the pins which then puts immense strain on the rubber

Squeaky Challenger front suspension

Damn squeak is back again on the passenger side of the Challenger - really embarrassing driving down the road now! Pretty sure its the LCA bush on the K frame pin that's come adrift again for the second time. Everything was only tightened up once it was all back on the ground under its own weight so...

It looks good. I tried this solution on mine, got a pair of LED white/amber bulbs from far east on ebay and it looked good, but could not see the Amber( very clear) when white was on as well. Yeah I did the same initially with those LED bulbs but they just wouldn't work properly. There's more of a ...

A fair bit of time has now passed since originally asking the question on here, BUT Nathan Shaw of Brightlight Customs asked to borrow one of my front sidelight housings to develop an LED solution. That took a little while and the LED boards are now available from him. Here is the final product fitt...

I've just fitted the Bright Light Custom LED boards to my Charger and posted the following video of them in operation with the sidelight on and off https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xgI7uq2YhO8&feature=youtu.be Nathan 'borrowed' one of my sidelights to develop these LED boards and I'm impressed wi...

I've bought studs and nuts from this guy who trades in the hot rod world and knows his stuff. If you can't see what you want, give Maurice a call to find out whats best. As far as I know you don't need anything highly stressful but 'Chinese made' nuts may not be the best quality steel or tolerance s...

Yes the ones I have fitted to my Charger work independently. Side lights (white) and indicators amber on there own as well. If side lights on and indicators, they just alternate between white and amber. Also used them as reverse and indicators and still work well. Some of the guys saw them at the g...

I used dual colour LED lamps in rear reverse lamps and also in front side lights, work really well. This post from earlier in year. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/White-Yellow-1157-50W-5630-LED-Dual-Color-Switchback-Turn-Signal-Light-Bulbs-/400789164218?hash=item5d50e550ba Well these LED bulbs finally a...
