Thanks Pete, still need to “restore” the headrest and dye it blue to match the rest. I’ll cut my other headrest down to swap in for road use.

It’s not that hard to get a decent finish that’s good enough under hood, painting bodywork proper takes a lot more practice!

I knew some parts interchanged but I didn’t know the LA heads could be swapped on.

There was someone over here that was going to set the world alight with one about 15 years ago, I can’t hold my breath for much longer…

They can work and do have thier fans but you can imagine what it costs compared to an LA or big block making the same power.

Big block weight, small block capacity and hard to find parts for, boat anchor basically.

Just needs a repaint, interior and a set of wheels ‘cos that looks bloody awful…

That’s the join where the roof meets the rear quarter, leaded from the factory. Often looks a bit lumpy when moisture gets under it and it ‘blows’. Very nice repair as usual!
