I wouldn't bet on it. The parade of car clubs isn't scheduled to end until 18:30 on the Sunday.

I remember battling this as well. Got a new sender, calibrated it, installed it - was way off. I think my mistake was calibrating on the documented factory resistance settings for full and empty. I prefer your method of using the actual gauge in the car for the calibration. As an aside I came across...

I had the same issue as you after installing the 493 stroker and again (like you) looked at Hydroboost, vacuum etc. in the end I ditched the lot and went to manual brakes. To be honest...

I just sent off the V5C when going from a 383 to a 493. No grief from the DVLA at all. Next call was to the insurance company . . . that proved to be more expensive :)

No direct experience with this scam mate, but it sounds dodgy. As you mentioned a .zip is weird but also - via email ?? If it's legit I would have expected it via post or something on your car when you supposedly did this. If you're curious you could dig a little further - how's the language in the ...

Thanks for the info guys, much appreciated. I've found a local place that has a 16ft tri-axle BJ for hire so I'm going to hire that out and see how it goes. The only thing that makes me a little unsure of tri-axle at the moment is that where I plan on storing it means some manoeuvring by hand and I'...
