Thanks !

Good point re. copyright - as you correctly point out 'Road & Track' was a successful contemporary mag . . .

Perhaps the lack of & and the use of / was a subtle and cunning way around any law suits ?

R/T . . . Road, Rapid, Track or Transit ?

I can't believe I'm asking this after reading so many books over so many years but I went to a AAC show today (OK, only visiting !) and collected a small trophy. When shaking hands and posing for the lens, the 'MC' announced that "many think R/T stands for 'Road & Track' but in fact it stan...

Was with RH for my 'rookie year' with the Challenger but when year 2 rolled around the premium shot up - as it does with most, it seems. Been with Flux last year for less than £200 and beat them down below that this year - that includes 'Flux Rescue' (I have to wonder how good that would really be ?...

Always think of the Comic Strip Presents . . . where Rik is concerned.

Classic characters of 'Carlos' in a Fistful of Traveller's Cheques and 'Colin' the posh bassist in Bad News and More Bad News - the best on-screen skid in a pile of dog doo I have ever seen . . .

Hello there . . . and welcome ! Always nice to see another Challenger . . . old or new. And . . you have the same side stripes as me . . . which, I'm sure someone will point out are '71 on a '70 . . . Well, the guy bought it in '70 and was so impressed with the superior '71 stripes he whipped them o...

Thanks Chris.

I'm down in Bromsgrove and am busy 'prepping' tomorrow evening for a run to work (Coventry) on Friday . . .

Looks like a straight forward run up M5/M6 for me so will consider it for the future.

Matt.

Well quite ! Did 'Graveyard' even run for a series ? - it was so bad I only watched about half of one episode. Just caught up with 'for the love of cars' hosted by Philip (Gene Hunt) Glennister . . . they did an Escort Mexico and he was a refreshing change as a bit of a 'geezer' as opposed to the ba...

Not leaving out Counting Cars where they (allegedly) cruise around (Vegas ?) and shout out at apparently random Joe's who have "a real cool car, man" and then buy it to 'flip it' . . . if you really cruised the highways doing that in most parts, someone would quite probably pull a gun on y...

Engine running completely normally. Most of the problems that I have had with this car have been poor, loose or crappy connectors behind the dash . . . this may be yet another. My gut feel is that the actual Tacho dial assembly is to blame. The clock doesn't work, the dimmer doesn't work and before ...

Rallye Dash (1970 Chally) Tacho-jumping

Went for a good run today and noticed half way through that the Tacho works for a bit, has a small fit and flicks backwards (it climbs in a clockwise direction) and then works for a bit, then a fit, works, fit . . . and so on. seems sort of OK at idle. Anyone had the same ? where does it pick up sig...
