Answered it myself, could be a late 68

Alan, are you sure its' the headlights that are dim and not the driver .
Will Datsun sells the headlights that take a H4 bulb, Scott got his for $8 each.

That was Cody's at West drayton, he went a long time ago.

For quite a while now the Charger has been going not as well as should have, I tracked it down to the fuel system, I pulled out the sender unit, all was ok, I then took the carb off and checked that over, that seemed ok, I tried another manual pump from Adam, still not right, tried an electric pump ...
