Actually Duncan, I had 3 at the same time...

Superbird: #'s Matching, Tor Red, V code 440 + 6, 4 speed, bucket seat, console, with Dana, Suregrip and 3.54:1 gears, Ralley wheels.

Superbird: Non #'s matching, C37D Corporate Blue , U code, 440 4bbl, bench seat, A727, 8 3/4 Suregrip and 3.23:1 gears, Ralley wheels.

Daytona: Non #'s matching, Hemi orange with Black tail, U code, but I put a date coded 426 Hemi in it with 2 x 4bbl Carters, A727, bucket seat, console, with Dana, Suregrip and 4.10:1 gears, Originally with 14" wheels , but I replaced them with 8x15" Steel wheels painted body colour.

I think I had the AAR and T/A then as well. Before I had that I had the A12 Roadrunner 440+6 with a 4 speed and 4.10:1 Dana and Suregrip (and manual drums allround).....happy days !!!!

Now I have just got lots of woodworm  ;)

I imported it from New York, and it headed back Stateside to the Midwest (Missouri, I think), where it got sold on pretty quickly. It is on the A12 Register.

Only had 13K miles on it from new as it was a track car all its life, hence the original motor not being with it having done Kablooie at some point.....

If money was no object and neither was storage, I would go for an A12 Bee, and probably a 69 500 as Baccy says.

I have always wanted to own a shaker car, but I doubt that will happen now...Still I was very fortunate to own the cars I did, and I have met a lot of great people as a result of my interest in them.

I loved that AAR you had at the same time as the wing cars Pete. Did you ever even drive it anywhere?

I have fancied an AAR ever since. I think they are a better looking E-body than the T/A. :thumbright:
