Love that Mark. I managed to pick up a book years ago about musclecar advertising and it's full of these great pieces of artwork. A real snapshot of the era when art was used instead of photos. I collect original cinema posters and again, my interest lies in posters created by artists and not so much the ones that just rely on photographs. Unfortunately, they tend to be more expensive so my collection is on the small side.

It's actually a fake ad, it's based on a similar ad from a 1973 ad campaign below. Jay Leno had it made up to go on his garage wall, next to his Hemi Challenger. I cobbled it together in Photoshop from a screen grab of a video he posted up. But yes, some of the ads and posters from the time were superb. Ah...that's interesting. At first glance it looks real and in those days, I think they could say almost anything they wanted to in advertising
