People think that they are driving "Yank Tanks", but in reality they have the structural integrity of a Prawn Cracker - especially after 40 years of internal rust in box sections, etc....

Yup, and that is (was ) a 71 Challenger convertible too....same as mine .
Well at least I can't crash/it if I'm not driving it

Having said that - I'm sure I had a picture somewhere of an equally unrecognisable Charger having been 'wadded up' in the venacular . So even with a roof, those things do not fare well in some kinds of collisions. Almost makes me want to put a cage in...but in a vert - no.

That was a 100mph Crash test on the Charger under a controlled environment - It crushed back to the rear wheel opening!
