Hello From the North "Sheffield" UK

Post by TIB3300 »

Hello all

Well where do I start,, ;) Am quite old now in my mid 50s, I have been a car mechanic since the late 70s.
Doing clutch jobs on Datsuns 120Ys for £20  I LOVE cars :plymouth: as they have been my life.
I now do a 9-5 job at a uni :read2:

Ive built some cars over the years including MK2 Escorts' Jag' Audi Quattro', the last car was a MK3 Cortina GXL that took me 8 years, sold earlier this year.

But I need a V8 in my life, I do love yanks but they aint practical. So I bought another MK3 cortina about two years ago to build a V8 MK3.

After much research...Listening To lots of V8s :rr: I have now come the decision that Dodge V8 engines are the best sounding V8 to me ;)

So the only engine I could possibly use in my latest toy has to be a MOPAR .I will shush for now and post up more soon TiBBs

Welcome!

I dream of being in my mid-50's!!!

Never to early or too old for a Mopar.

If you can run to the cost, a Big Block Mopar can't be beat, but they all have their own individualistic style and charm.

Plenty of help and advice on here.

All the best.
Pete Wiseman; Cambridge.
