Found this during my lunchtime internet musings. I'm liking the colour scheme:-

Re: French Racing Hemi Cuda
I could be wrong but I think that car came over to the Euronats a good few years ago when the French and Dutch used to come over en masse.

Yes I think that's the one...used to be red and white IIRC.
Looking at the link I noticed a documentary had been made "Henri Chemin and the Lost Hemi - Documentary".
Lo and behold a quick search later, here is it, 1 hour - I shall watch this and enjoy!!!

Re: French Racing Hemi Cuda
I recall that the one that showed up at a Pod EuroNats was a V code with a Hemi in it, so I think the blue one is a different car if it is an R code.
Re: French Racing Hemi Cuda
Love this sort of thing. There was an article many moons ago in Connected about this car.

Re: French Racing Hemi Cuda
2 Years later and today I finally got around to watching the documentary....I guess my expectations were not particularly high, but it was REALLY well done, a proper professionally made programme. I knew the car circuit raced but really had no idea how successful it was, nor that it was part of a factory Chrysler France team, with two Hemi cars and two 440's. Since the US TA cars did not use Hemi's these may be the only circuit racing hemi cudas, and certainly the ones that won the most! They speak with the original owner, Henri Chemin (who had previously run the factory Ford racing programme) and take you from the racing history of the car through finding it in a French barn, it's restoration in the US and being reunited with Henri. He has some interesting things to say about how capable the car was (good things!), being better than a works BMW and also the Mustangs before - he said it was pretty much a proper sports car!!
Anyway, I recommend watching it if you haven't....
