MMA in old mag

Post by Mark B »

Was recently given an old American car mag and spotted a few members cars. Cannonball's awesome looking Challenger, Pete's old 440 R/T Challenger and the MMA at Brooklands.

This car of Pete's is lovely, still around and had a tow bar when i last saw it.

It is also the car that caught fire when the bulkhead connector failed. I remember my colleagues talking about going to it on the Royston bypass.

..And I got charged for them hauling its sorry Ass off the A505 as they said it was a risk to traffic and required immediate removal!!

I literally had to rip the battery connections out by hand in short order to avoid the whole car going up in flames!

I have the Challenger in the picture, owned this for last four years, fantastic race car looking to now sale this. Looking for £18,000. Vehicle was automatic but now G Force clutches four speed. Vehicle ran 8's with only 700hp pump gas street engine. Car is turn key less engine.
