He did, 10 boxes full supposedly. We struck a deal for the parts but when I contacted him to come get them about 3 weeks ago he said he had a death in the family and he'd get back to me when he can. So I'll wait a few more weeks and see what happens. I dont wanna pee him off to the point he refuses to sell me them altogether.

Hey Ian,

thanks for the message. Currently I have neither. Although a '68's parts might not be entirely accurate for a '69 car Im not convinced I'll be getting these 10 boxed of bits to be honest so Id take what I could. :D

So yes, I would be interested in both the Grill Part and Boot trim.

Took delivery of two new quarter panels on Monday. :) Unfortunately Im working away so have not been able to have a look over them yet. Came in via Ron Fenton and as always a first class service.

Took advantage of the AMD sale for one side and bought a more generic quarter for the other. AMD only had the left side on special unfortunately.

Oh, and managed to source some clean looking windshield trim for my year of Barracuda Convertable. Got them for $100 inc shipping to Cali, so happy with that.

Well, finally done the deal on the box of parts. Looks like there is a good bit there. Supposedly some doors as well? We'll see.

His company is delivering it all on a flatbed tomorrow for £200! Cost of fuel only supposedly.

I should say the delivery is £200, not the cost of the parts. :D They where considerably more. :D

But very glad to have them finally secured, and of course all the paperwork.

Yes original paperwork just has to be had, as are those convertible only parts that no doubt you know are very expensive if you can even find them.

Heh heh, normally. Had to get her to do the bank transfer this time though as I was working and the seller suddenly wanted the parts shifted that day. That was an interesting afternoon. And it was also our 20th wedding anniversary the same day, she was not best chuffed.

I told her I was just buying the shell and would not touch it for years and years, then a 1968 340 turned up outta the blue and had to buy that, then the AMD rear quarters where on sale, so had to buy them. Then the parts for this car suddenly came up so had to but them as well. :argue:

Or you could just say I gave them to you....

Got to get these parts when you see them as you quickly forget the money but always regret missing bits you cant find in the future
