Are we there yet dad ..... 10 to the gallon but worth it.

This is one of the reasons carbon fibre driveshafts exist, when one of those lets go most of it just disintegrates into nylon strands.

When you see the carnage of a prop letting go like that, the cost of a Carbon Prop no longer seems expensive...

Having just re-installed my extremely heavy 1350 3.5" diameter steel prop, I can see there are many benefits (apart from cost as ever...)
