RIP Tony O

Post by mopar_mark »

I was shocked to read a message on FB from Nipper, to say that Tony O has passed.

I have pasted his message below

It is with a very heavy heart I have been asked by the family to let you all know of the untimely passing of Tony O.
Tony passed away in hospital on Tuesday morning.
I cannot express in words the shock and sadness I am feeling right now over such a great loss.
My condolences to Sharon and Family.
I will update you all as and when I am asked to.

I have just heard this very sad news that Tony Oksien has passed away.

Deepest condolences to Sharon and the rest of his family.

Tony O set up the Mopar Muscle Association as we know it and was the driving force behind the Mopar Euronationals right from the start. He was a proper Mopar guru and hugely knowledgable.

He will be sorely missed and a very great loss to the Mopar and Muscle Car community in the UK and worldwide.

RIP Tony - your legacy will live on.

Very sad news, he valued both my car at the Euronats. A mopar guru and a gentleman.

Oh my goodness. That has shocked me a bit.
Only spoke to him a few months ago - big long conversation about cars and the origins of mine etc.

Big loss to this community. :pale:

Totally shocked to hear this. I have known Tony for the best part of forty years, worked on some of his cars during that time. Always enjoyed talking to him and meeting up with him at various shows, he will be a real loss to the hobby. What a duff year this has been. Sincere condolences to his family and friends, rest in peace Tony.
