I will, I can tell you the 340 Duster is a 4 speed car with less than 300 miles on the odo according to someone thinking of buying it.

Heard from a reliable source this weekend that someone bought all the cars from the chapel for 500 grand. They will be left exactly as they are and stashed away again. You couldn’t make this stuff up…

Quite possibly less than now, very hard to predict if the market will stagnate, keep going up or collapse completely, given the uncertain future.

I firmly believe we will be unable to use our old cars in the not so distant future and they will become valueless paper weights in museums at best. That is why my car now lives outside on my driveway in the middle of nowhere instead of in my garage in Brum. I'm using it while I still can.

I know it's a whole other conversation so sorry for the thread hijack

That’s interesting Blue, I wonder how many cars were involved. Sad if they all end up stashed away again. Would have been great so see them re commissioned, particularly the GKN record breaking car. Some fascinating history there that’s not that well known. Strange end to the story, I hope it’s not some auction house that have paid up because that will be all about the money !

I was told at the NEC that one person bought the whole lot, but I have not had that substantiated....

I hope so. I just wanted to know whether the legend of the hemis was true… I mean they are clearly an awesome find - but there are degrees of awesome. I’d just like to know how it all turns out !

If that ever happened I swear I would leave this country. Good to hear you have it out and ready to drive whenever you feel like it.

And go where? The move away from the internal combustion engine is happening worldwide, the last bastions will be the undeveloped world so Africa might be your best bet....

I'll figure it out but I'm not worried about it for now.
