Which was that, the Coronet?
I've watched all their work that's been on UK tv so far and loved just about all of them with the possible exception of that Coronet!
I just didn't agree with what they did with the front end  #-o :flush:

Just watched it. Car isn't my cup of tea to be honest but like the fact they don't scream at eachother and show lots of what's actually being done to the cars. Some talented guys on there, their sheet metal work is amazing :thumbright:

I think it's a weekly thing. I like Chasing Classic Cars and that's on Thursdays, repeated in the week and next 'new' one following Thursday. My freeview doesn't list stuff that far ahead. Just says 'no information available'

I can't decide if the finished car is a true work of Mopar art, or a waste of a perfectly good original car. The jury is out but I'm coming down on the side of 'they messed up a nice car'

I agree Steve, while the work is all very impressive, i much prefer it when they just cut up another Corvette, Camaro, Chevelle etc.
Much less painful. :plymouth: :Mopar: :Dodge:
And those wheels were just ludicrous - do you have to drop the axle to change a wheel?

Yeah Stu, certainly not a car you could just jump in and enjoy. Apart from being a financial liability it just wouldn't survive anything but a nice smooth road. I think they just become design statements and probably investment cars. Not what the hobby is about for me.

I prefer shows like Graveyard Cars etc where you see them restoring cars to a high standard but they are still in essence, the car they started out as. Although super perfect restored cars aren't my bag either, they are far nicer than these custom thingies in my mind.

I do like watching the sheet metal work, that's very interesting :thumbright:

I don’t mind it. Different and well finished.

But then I liked all the bat-sheeeet crazy custom cars from the 70s at the shows when I was a kid. The finishing and attention to detail on some of them was mind boggling to me in my yoof. :D
24 hours in a day, 24 beers in a case. Coincidence? I think not…

I didn't go much on the finished article, seemed to have lost some character along the way.
