Pete's old Superbird

Post by Stu Twin »

... makes a fleeting appearance in this Youtube vid of this year's Spring Fling at Van Nuys.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3AOtpGBKqcM

Pretty sure it is? still got the UK license on the front MFL197H

Appears around 45 seconds in, the rest of the vid isn't really much cop tbh. Not a patch on Jim's old videos of the Nats.

Could that be Pete's Daytona too, towing the white Daytona? Different wheels but they're easily changed... :-k

Thanks for posting Matt.
Shame the new owner doesn't know much of it's history. France or Germany indeed !!

You're welcome Stu. I saw the video a few days ago but I wasn't aware that was Pete's old car. Good to see it still gets driven!

Yes, that's it, but it looked a lot better on colour coded wheels and a Hemi..

.......well, the Hemi got taken out and a Wedge put in, then the Wedge was taken out and a Hemi was put in.

Confused??

The Blue one was purchased from Jason (Capt Sunflower) Wood.

The Tor Red one was purchased and imported by myself from a private seller in America.
