WANTED: Electronic Ignition Wiring Harness for Mopar Chrysler Orange Box

Post by Pete »

Hi there.

I am after an Electronic Ignition Wiring Harness for Mopar Chrysler Orange / Chrome Box ECU.

It has not got to be in good condition as I am going to cut it up!!!

I don't need the ECU Plug to be in good condition, as I am after the wires and Plug that go onto the Distributor.

Many thanks in anticipation.

Pete

I think these are readily available and pretty cheap over the counter Pete. I bought a couple for my Polara and Fury a few years back from Stateside Autos in Atherston.

About £25 if I remember correctly

Would of been easier to pay the £25 a week ago, probably would have it by now :D

No Rush, Mark - a "Winter Project"...

It was just an opportunity to re-use something that maybe someone had laying around....

hahaha well you didn't give any context, do you need to just drive it to an mot station and back or is it going to be a beautiful thing.....! i remove the things but i cut them off at the very end from both dizzy and loom and put them in the bin. not much use i would guess.. Better off with one of these https://www.zoro.co.uk/shop/fluid-power ... ZT1230965P or silimar, modern relaibility and robust, unless LOOKs are key.

No Dave, I am trying to keep it period and not looking like a 3 day old BMW.

I want to graft the Dizzy pick up leads onto a Hidden MSD unit with Rev Limiter.

I am currently running a (hidden) Orange Box with no Rev Limiter, but this approach would allow me to swap back in the event of a failure of the MSD unit (as they are prone to doing so....)

Cheers.
