Looks good Miles

Have you tried steaming it on the wrinkles? I know thats whats done with seat covering and vinyl so may be the same for the headliner depending on what its made of.

John, I've read that vinyl won't steam out unless there is a cotton content included. I think the pricier headliners have that content and will steam out. Parking it in the sun is the go by all accounts 8-)

Hair dryer :thumbright: heat gun recommended by the professionals ....until. It burns thru the vinyl. So not doing that.

Hairdryer will be fine, it won't get hot enough to damage the headlining. Heat guns are good but you need to be very careful with them, to hot or to close and it will Bananarama! the headliner

Out of interest Miles. Would the paintwork not take polish ?
Or are there bare metal areas !

Moss,it's had a cheap $200 spray ober at some point, plus original paint and bare metal. I've tried polishing and cutting to no avail, so Gibbs it is :)
