2013 NSRA Hot Rod Supernats
Wayyyy too many pics, but thought I'd stick em up here for ya'll to peruse.
Relieved to see that this years show didnt clash with the Nats (first time in 8 or 9 years?) so we trundled up on the Sunday (it's only a few miles north of Stu's place) and beat the crowds.
Heard from a few NSRA-types that the 'show field' (where the old cars were allowed to park ) was full by mid-morning, most prob due to the extra people there that would normally be at the Pod. Hopefully they'll get the message and keep it separate for future years too
Anyhoo - deep breath....
Wonder what health & safety would have to say about this..... dont be tempted to rest your elbow on that blower belt
Is this what's know as big'n'littles?
Blown diesel?
Awards….

The '60 'Vette parked next to the Bee was perfect too... owned by a nice guy who had the Gold '67 (??) Coronet wagon at the Nats....small world.
The Pro-touring malarky was well represented.
Personal taste but to me was the perfect way to Bananarama! up a really good car that had a great build quality and paint job..............

Thanks one and all, apologies if your compooter ground to a halt like mine did, openng this thread again
BTW, these are just my pics, Stu's prob got a few hundred of his own too, but I expect theyre pretty much the same, so I think we can spare you any more tedium...
I'll have a think about how to get a message to Mick Harle, NSRA Chairman (tho he's thinking of stepping down), who we've known since his Neon Star days at the Pod, and see if there's any chance of keeping the 2 events separate
But I expect they've already got next years event sorted...
