Is this a regular meet Les? Prob wont make it this month but would like to meet up with all those you mentioned (& you of course!) sometime in the near future :thumbright:

Might get Paul Mander along too in his Goat to boost the non-Mustang numbers ;)

Bloody hell Pete I'd forgotten all about him! I used to bump into ol' spit most days when I was on the post, he was a well known local nutter...
Used to drink in the old Croc when I was at school, it being just across the road.

The first job i ever landed on my own was eight bungalows for Osheas, just around the corner from the Croc by the Canal there ....I knew Spitter he was classed as a looney but he was actually a clever old boy who had raised a big family...He used to like a bit of snuff and that used to set him of,,thats proper snuff from the little tins not what some of you are thinking...He could tell a story better than any man alive ... He had no money so i always stood him a pint when i was in there ,,,, But the story about him and the hedge he had to trim will have to stay private ,,,
