More Brookie pics!

Post by RobTwin »

As has already been said, it was great to be back at Brooklands again this year, under the 'Chrysler' or as it was this time, the 'MMA' name, so thanks again to Derek and everyone else for getting us back in there and making it work on the day. I hope the 'powers that be' at Brooklands were happy at the end of the day....

Just a shame that some people who would normally have been there had to choose between Brooklands and Enfield Pageant / Santa Pod / Shakey :?

Some may have already seen these over on faceache, but I thought i'd stick em on here too for anyone not that way inclined :)

Thanks also to Martin for bringing the 70 440+6 RR 'vert - 1 of 34 apparently! You always manage to steal the show, tho Andy rrunner tried his best to take the attention away by getting his GTX low-loader-ed away, due to suspected low oil pressure. Hope it is/was an easy fix.

Anyhoo....

Brilliant pictures as ever, thanks for posting.

A bit quieter than usual for a number of reasons - possible being on this occasion on a Saturday and the "variable" weather Forecast.

It was, nonetheless, very successful in my opinion; and my sincere thanks goes to Derek and all the Marshalls for all their work behind the scenes; and obviously to Brooklands for accommodating us.

Thanks to all who attended as well, it was fantastic seeing so many members.

Yeah, belongs to a good pal of mine, car was ordered/built for Gary Cooper but he died before taking delivery, customised by George Barris, all Mopar running gear, a proper bit of kit, was recently featured in Classic Cars mag

Great photo's as per, I never even saw some of those cars! Surprising there were 4 '67-'69 Barracuda fastbacks there considering you hardly ever see one these days.
