City Concourse - Mopars in attendance

Post by RobTwin »

Just noticed that this event, held in the City Of London next Thurs & Fri...

http://cityconcours.co.uk/venue/

has a class called 'The Collector' American Muscle, with a mouth-watering group of cars, 5 of the 6 being Mopars.

http://cityconcours.co.uk/concours-cars/

If you're looking in, Martin (RPM), anything to do with you / Carlos? ;) :-$

If so, can you get some pics if you're going? :D

The list - if you cant be bothered to click the link ;)

1. 1966 Dodge Coronet Deluxe Hemi 'Police Special'
2. 1969½ Plymouth Road Runner 440-6 Pack
3. 1969 Dodge A12 Superbee 440-6 Pack 4 Speed
4. 1970 Chevrolet El Camino SS 454 LS-6
5. 1970 Dodge Challenger T/A 340 6-Pack
6. 1970 Plymouth Barracuda 440 6-Pack

Scuse the odd '440-6 Pack' type error but that's how it appears on the website :read2:

By the description I don't recognise those cars, I was wondering the same thing...

City Concours Muscle Car Pics

Post by SAV@RPM »

Spent a couple of days at the Honourable Royal Artillery Company in Central London. We were invited to put on a small muscle car display. Cars looked great amongst the European exotica and were really well received.

Impressive display, especially with them all being black :thumbright:

It's a tough job you got there Martin! Did you get to drive any of the cars there or were they all transported? It would have been special to see any of those driving through central London 8-)

Hi Rob, we transported the cars due to the logistics of driving six cars through Central London. However I do get to drive them when required. It's a tough job but someone's got to do it!

Hi Adam

1966 Coronet Deluxe 2 Door Sedan, one of 49 built. Hemi,4 speed, less than 9000 miles from new, Totally original and unrestored. The paint is thin in places from being polished over the years but is factory original. Totally untouched under the hood so the engine is a little scruffy but it is a true survivor. Broadcast sheet, original certicard and it drives really well. There is a video of it on my website. Its definitely one of my favourites.
