couldnt make it, headlights stated to flash on and off while i was driving off my estate.

If its the same as mine Dave, check out the block that connects onto the
switch on the floor,mine comes loose & the lights close etc ;)

Yorkie, If it helps you with your scoop selection, it's unlikely a tunnel ram will fit under any of the normal mopar scoops, even ones that been oversized, them things is tall! Whatever you do don't fit a modern type "aero" scoop, they just look plain wrong on an old slab sided car. For me there is a choice of one, this one,

This is about the best picture I can find of one on a car, it took me a long time to find anywhere that still makes them, one of my favorite scoops ever!

Here's a pic with one of them in, plus the other common SS scoop of the '70s, plus what looks like another one of those mounted back to front ...

5inch cowl! you know it makes sense, but we are partial to these "chevy" scoops
