It was sad to read on the nsra forum that one of the Rods on show had bricks thrown at it as it left the show breaking a window and body damage.
Another car on show was involved in a 3 car pile up are had rear damage, I hope everyone else got home safe.
I think they are going to have a collection at the Essex swap meet so if you see a bucket you know what it's for
Mmm. Looks bigger than quarter scale to me. More like 1/2 scale I would have thought?
Can't think what wheelbase the old slingshots were off the top of my head. Something like 106 inches springs to mind though??
That would make a 1/2 scale model about 5 or 6 feet long in total?
I reckon Dave's right. I think the tables give an idea, they look about 3 to 4ft square, and I think the signs are A4 & A3. Dont think the coke can is normal (330ml) size tho, but summat made up.
That K&N looks like the one we used to have on a Dellorto 40DHLA, prob 9" long?
But hey, pretty good bit of engineering whatever size it is.
I just measured the coke can on my screen and compared it to the on screen length of the dragster. Taking 2.5 inches as the width of a coke can that works out as around 6.5 feet or more depending how much it is forshortened by the perspective.
So yeah I would say those notices are A3 and A4 and it is about 7 feet long.
