The Beaufighter was in the resto hanger. Fantastic. Best plane for me was the under restoration Gloster Gladiator. Seeing under the skin of an aircraft is fascinating/mindboggling and makes restoring a Mopar look dead easy! Great day out!

Another fab thang was Monty's caravans. Nicked off Rommel and Electric Whiskers. He would only give up his sleeping caravan for the King or Winnie. Anyone else had to kip in a tent. What gets me about Duxford and other war museums is the humbling experience of it all. We owe our thanks, big time. Ball gunner position anyone?
