More Duxford... Planes & stuff this time
Some pics of what I saw....
Fraid I dont know enough about 'em to know what each are called (reckon I knew more when I was 10!), but, as they say about art, "I know what I like!"
Still got a big soft spot for many of the planes I built as kits when younger, so great to see the Phantom, Douglas Skytrain, Flying Fortress, Gloster Gladiator, various Spitfires & P-51s etc etc
Didnt see a couple of the hangars so will have to do them next time

As Dave said... no flash and as steady as you can!YORKIE wrote:
How did you get those shots in the American hanger so clear? all mine were either too dark or light!
Mind you, i was surprised how bright it was over by the windows, those ones were ok. But over t'other side it was a bit touch & go whether to flash or not. That Blackbird was virtually impossible to get a good 'un of it's front end without a gazillion watt flash or a slow shutter speed & tripod. Of which I had neither, so gave in!
I think the hangars I didnt look round would take another 1/2 day to look round properly, plus the one they're finishing off now.. well no one's seen the exhibits in there yet.TYREMAN wrote:More good pictures thanks...although there will be no suprise if i go next year?seen a lot of whats there on here
So I wouldnt worry too much, I'm sure you won't be too disappointed.
And with an even bigger turn out of cars, you'll have even less time than we did to get round and see it all!
