No, it's my 68 Polara moredoor in Birmingham. I painted the front blue and took the hood off just for the video... :D

picked up my 'flat pack' frame tuesday and had battens for the cladding delivered wednesday. got the last of the screws and raw bolts i need today so we're all set to finally put it together this week coming. hopefully we'll get it weathertight before the weather turns too bad.

i had jon and ian (the chippy) over today. after the first day here's where we're at. the back and 2 side walls were assembled and clad then stood up and bolted together flat pack style. then we assembled the front frame before knocking off for the day. we've got to frame out the garage and personal doors before we can clad the front and frame and clad the roof. i'll update again tomorrow assuming it doesn't pi55 hard all day.

cheers, it's not as big as i feared. in the last pic you can just see the top of the next door's shed above mine. also with it being enclosed by 6 foot fence panels it makes it look a bit smaller.

initially it'll have racking on the low side wall to the right and another row of racking 2-3 feet further in on the same side. the rest will be for my toys (car/s, engines/boxes etc) when i'm working in the garage next to my house.
eventually i want to get electricity connected along with water/sewage as this may be my retirement fund as and when i get planning permission to convert it/rebuild it to a dwelling and sell it on.
in the mean time it's a shed :thumbright:

Great plan and good luck with it. My pal has a huge garage at the bottom of his garden with 4 C bodies in it. He has a log burner attached to central heating radiators etc. He would happily live in it and flog his house!

funny you say that, i've said to my mate jon if i ever lost my wife (god forbid) i'd sell my house and buy an industrial unit and fit out an upstairs to live in.

before i bought the house i'm in now i looked at one that had the front door and kitchen downstairs with a 2 car garage either side completing the ground floor. the lounge, bathroom and bedrooms were upstairs. if it hadn't been on the main road through faversham i'd have bought it. i reckoned if i converted one of the garages into a lounge downstairs i could take out the ceiling above the other and install a 2/4 post lift :thumbright:
