if I'm reading the PDF on mirrors correctly its saying that pre June 76 cars are required to have an external offside mirror...so passenger side on our left hookers. I never realised that but see loads of our cars with no offside mirror.

Yeah but seeing as its a uk related requirement surely that means drivers side for us lot ? :thumbright:

Maybe....in fact hopefully....but I thought offside and nearside were defined as the side furthest from the kerb and nearest to the kerb, respectively.....so irrespective of which side the steering wheel is on. I'd guess the requirement is linked to safe overtaking.
