Rob, it's stunning in the flesh, I've seen it a few times as Kev is close to me, It's only took him 30 years to do it. :drwho: :drwho: :drwho: all joking aside, Kev has gone the extra mile on a lot of things.

Kev, where are all the other pics, you haven't got much else to do so get them on here.

Been doing lots, just fitted a CCTV system to the house, sorted 20 years of loft contents, boarded loft, lights in loft, new loft ladder, sorted old cassettes  , got more little jobs done on the Chevy Truck, now that it moves under its own power, mounted my vintage propeller on the garage wall, fitted an Alfa Mito strut top bearing, and I'm still working a 40 hour week from home, the commute to the spare room is fairly tolerable.

I haven't put fuel in any car in 4 weeks, but spent a fortune on Amazon.

And I've even managed to find time to do some Airfix modelling \:D/

Also had to sort out cancelling holidays, Le Mans Classic cancelled, Route 66 unlikely to happen so need a new plan for my 50th this year.

Good work Matt, I have to admit, my Ebay activity has soared but offset, as you say by zero fuel usage. My local garage is at 99p a litre for unleaded. Pity I cant use the Dodge, suddenly looks far more economical! :thumbright:

Can't be good for our cars standing around for months on end. All the oil drains to the bottom of the sump and then metal on metal when you come to start is up.
I'm taking my cars out every week to keep them going, for essentials of course.

At the beginning of March just as the virus was gaining momentum was the Historics auction at Ascot, i viewed some of the cars the day before the auction. Although it wasnt the car i initally wanted i won this 56 Bel Air Sport Sedan at a favourable price after a cheeky online bid then holding firm in discussion after the sale. Pretty rare being a 4 door hardtop and with an interesting history the car was in pretty good shape bar a hideous very tired red velour interior

Collected the car on the Sunday and took it straight to my trimmer, i had a spot booked for my Cadillac interior but decided this was more pressing

After formulating a plan for a bespoke but stock style interior a few weeks later it was done and the transformation is amazing, everything bar the carpet was replaced. You cant tell from the pics but the grey cloth has a heavy silver fleck in it

Since getting it back from the trimmer ive been working my way through some mechanical niggles but overall it seems a decent car.
Have changed the Rallye wheels for a set of Cragar Street Pros , i've changed the tyres since the pics were taken to level the stance but the car is coming together now
