Name the Bike !!!!!
Hello Team
Looking for some help and input in the naming of my bike.
My name is Will and some time ago on this forum I was shown a picture of a bike called “Jade warrior”
I wanted a go…. I didn’t want to build it didn’t want to own it just have a drive around a carpark….
7 years later … I’m slowly putting together the 3rd bike with a plan to race this competitively at ½ and 1-mile events and general racing stuff down runways for fun
I’m heavy involved with universities and in the future would be looking for formal sponsorship to help fund trips to the USA so we can’t call it the “Penetrator “
The Bike needs a name like all legendary land speed vehicles, and the unwritten rule is you cant use a name that's been used already
• Ford 999 Racer – 91.37 mph.
• The Stanley Rocket – 127.66 mph.
• The FIAT Mephistopheles – 145.89 mph.
• Sunbeam – 150.87 mph.
• Babs – 170 mph.
• Blue Bird – 174.88 mph.
• The Mystery (aka Sunbeam 1000 hp) – 203.79 mph.
• The Golden Arrow – 231.446 mph
Any ideas ??????????

Big Willy? As your name is Will and the bike is big!
Re: Name the Bike !!!!!
Being a staunch "Motorhead" fan, I would suggest "Overkill" - I think that is quite appropriate.....

I’ve been saving one for for my dream race car. Whattleitdooo.spell variation as required. It was on the Harley Davidson Electraglide owned by the bloke that taught me to to ride a motorcycle back in the seventies,it’s stuck with me.

I was always a bit worried about "Lost Johnny" - it sounded like he had mislaid his prophylactic...

It is a shame that "Mephistopheles" has been used. I really like that.
I always liked the fact that John Webster named his digger "Hephaestus" . Greek God and armourer to the Gods.
There are some great sources in Classic Greek Mythology, so give that a try.
.. Or just use "Challenger" as per Dodge and the Space Shuttle....

All the Aces. A touch presumptuous perhaps as a name but a good one too.,
