1987 Buick Grand National

Post by guy whitwam »

Hi All
Just putting this one out there , we are thinking of getting one these , don't know a whole lot about them but all the reviews we have read sound very impressive and a rare car over here . I think someone in the club did have one as I remember two used to arrive together at the Nats a few years ago and race .
Does anyone know of one for sale , or anyone who has one here ............. any info would be gratefully received .
Yours
GUY :salute:

Steve Beschi owned the two - a stocker and one that had been hopped up - fastest US car in that year, faster than the 'Vette.

Lovely cars, I would happily own one; but do not know any for sale...

Stewart 'Captain Chaos' owned one too... not a GNX as far as I recall but he used to sing its praises too 8-)
He might know if any have been for sale recently :-k

Mine was a Monte Carlo, not as potent as a GNX. I haven’t seen a GNX for sale for ages, didn’t Sandy have Regal T for sale a couple of years back?

24 hours in a day, 24 beers in a case. Coincidence? I think not…

Thanks fellas , although I don't think I will be going for either of those 2 that were sent over .......... omg !
Still the one I am looking at is not in this country and starts with a 3 so still think it is worth looking at , has build sheet , not messed with , 67,000 miles with immaculate interior and a very unusually , a sun roof .
But I am running away with myself at the moment so we will wait and see if the planets get in line .
