Hi Morgan

Yes she is running sweet as a nut, but my wife has lost interest in trips out, as she says its too big and brash to enjoy trips out for Sunday dinner etc. Plus she won't go to shows with me, so I end up going alone, all the Mopar events seems to be well south, so unless I travel its a lonely day out. Very few Mopars around this area and if there are I never see them.
This could be the end of the classic scene for me for a while, if I am honest my interest has been leaning off for a good while, the Charger did re ignite it for a time, I guess i enjoy doing the refurbishment work more than the showing and driving, Now she's how I want her I am bored again. She is a stunning car with a performance to match, probably the best so far I may regret it, we will see.

Definately one to buy if chargers are your thing.
Roger, as is his usual style when it comes to classic cars, was/is well on the way towards making this example one of the best in the country.

IMHO...……...Ditch the "OL BIRD" and enjoy the MOPAR. Nothing better than just you and the car, driving around, enjoying life :plymouth: :plymouth: :plymouth:

Shame it`s a DODGE ;) ;) ;)

Im very lucky in as much as my girlfriend loves my car and more often than not, she attends the shows etc with me. I cant say the same for my ex!! :D

I can see where you are coming from, cruising around on your own has its limits. I used to be into bikes and I would get up early in the summer and ( if none of the lads were coming out to play) I would go on my own for a blast over to the Welsh coast etc. I got bored with it (sometimes while I was out!) and would come home and have more fun polishing the bike on the drive with the kids playing around etc.

Good luck with the sale, its a stunning car!!!!

Hi Steve

Yes that is more or less the issue. I love driving her and the attention she gets where ever I go. I am still in two minds and not really comfortable letting her go :( after all the effort I have put in, getting her to stage she is now. I'm going to advertise her from this W/E so see how it goes, if I get a sale so be it, but I wont be giving her away.

Thanks for the compliments.

good plan .... I have a lot of fun in my car (we both enjoy National Trust houses) and try to combine a couple of things in with the trips out in the car. I don't have a lot of money tied up in my car so not a problem if we don't use her that often if busy etc. Maybe you could sell your Charger and buy something for a lot less but still enjoy trips out without the 'burden' of having a high end car? Just a thought, lots of nice mopars out there and some aren't too expensive. We had a lovely day out at Packwood House in Warwickshire yesterday. Stretched the cars legs and had a nice picnic etc, just what its all about for me. Even gave her a pre MOT clean (booked in for Friday)

Cheers Steve :thumbright:

Hi Steve

I doubt I will be without for long, have been been mulling a few things around in my head, my wife wants something less in your face as she puts it.
Took the charger out this afternoon took a few photos for the add. Will be going up shortly. Got photos correct way around this :) time.
