No i havent found a car yet but my dad is trying to get me to by an old mini or a mustang when i would prefere a mopar. James I'll think about the daytona.

no not yet but i am excited to c if he wants to sell to us. Coronet is the perfect car for me to own cause i love the way they look and its a 440 :thumbright: :thumbright: :thumbright:

dont forget the '440' is the model type (ie trim level), rather than the engine size :read2: (Dodge started this before they had the 440 engine :roll: )

Unless it's both, in this case.......

was hedging my bets ;)

Just checked & I was right. Car's a '440' :) with no engine :(

Still sounds like a great opportunity for a 1st Mopar.... 68 Coronet :thumbright:

Not sure if it started any earlier than 63, but the 63 Dodge range started with the 330 (plain Jane), then the 440, then Polara, then Polara 500 (like ours with all the shiny bits).

Not too sure how the 440 model fits in with the 68 Coronet range tho :oops:

The 440 model name was brought in in '62 ... a road test will be in Connected some time, probably this year ;)

Can i ask James what do you mean by "a road test" is it as simple as it sounds or more complicated.

Julies 1962 Dart 318 Poly is a "440" model designation.

Plenty of 440's around, I have one in bits at the moment.....
