Spot welded the old arch to the new and then sprayed couple a layers of lacquer over it to protect it.

Would have liked big wheels / tyres like yours Pete, but didn't want to mess around with the suspension / leaf springs.

Still it's got some stance now.

A good decision.

You have no idea how many hours, Wheels and tyres for test, and general faffing around it took to get the Big tyres under the Arches with stock tubs and getting the car to sit at stock height.

Easier and maybe cheaper to buy one that's already done. Is there a thread showing the work you did? Would be interested to see.

True , i think there's only about 20% that car left now , replaced just abot everthing in the end

they fit nice, imo the 70's would've looked a bit...... well, 70's (era)
