That's the one.
I've not driven it yet but it appears that it holds it's own on the circuit.
The good thing about the regulations is that the competition is equally "nobbled" and restricted with developments.
When I do take delivery of the car I will have a good/better idea of what the current build spec is but I believe the current owners lavished good care and attention on it so I'm fairly sure there are no "quick" roads to a power jump.

I take it is a complete car with an engine?

if so it'll be this chap, Peter Knight that built your engine. I doubt you'll get a better legal engine.

I've dealt with Peter a few times and he is a really nice guy, he'll will tell you anything you need to know.

Hi,
yes the car is ready to run and when I have it I will have all the build documents. I'll track back from there.

Hi Everyone.
well after a long delay (caused by me) I now have the car all paid for and collect it Tuesday so I will be having a good look over it.
I will be racing it at the Birkett relay race at Silverstone on Oct 27th/28th
As I said before any info on upgrades will be really useful.

Thanks I'm really pleased with it and now scouring the web for any parts that might help it along a bit. It appears that it is also eligible for the pre 66 Touring cars and they have lots of races in Europe at good circuits.
Maybe a good place to start is to find another engine and get that one prepped if anybody knows of one about?

Hi Gents,
well the Dart survived the Birkett 6 hour race and was running well when the team withdrew after one car written off and another damaged.
I have to say that as this was my first drive in the car I wasn't sure what to expect but it really was nice to drive aside from not having rain tyres and the whole event was torrential rain.
I really enjoyed the engine and felt that it will be fantastic in the dry. I had loads of really nice comments about the car and it was a very positive experience.
Cheers

Congratulations.
A fellow MMA club member Cheng (Owner of the"Thunder Road Cars") was there, sans Cobra.
He was looking after the team in the adjacent garage, and sent me a picture of the Dart and said it looked great!

Here's to more racing and no crashing!
