I have just seen that we will only be allowed a maximum of 15 cars on our club stand, sorry but it will have to be the first 15 on the list, unless you know another way of doing it.

Re: Wheels Day 2019 April 19th
This is what I have taken from the Surrey Street Rodders site, please read and let me know what we could do to make our club stand stand out, If we have to, we can go with the car sales theme like we did a couple of years ago, only this time make it bigger and better with some help from a few of you. I have 4 flag poles and flags, some bunting not a lot though) and the club banners, some input would be good.......................................PLEASE TAKE NO NOTICE ABOUT REGISTERING I WILL DO THAT FOR YOU AS A CLUB.
We'll ladies and gentlemen of the SSR,
We are very pleased to announce that the registration process for 2019s Wheels Day 45 is officially open!!!
Thank you all for being so patient. It's been a long hard few months trying to improve the entry website but it is here and magically reworked. The whole site has been updated to make it easier to use and less troublesome than before. The database now accepts more picture file types and larger files to make it less of a headache to upload your wonderful car pictures to.
Simply visit www.wheelsday.net to register your car. As always the site is open until 4 weeks before the show to apply but get in quick as there will be 500 early-bird tickets released at the end of February so for a better chance at a pass get registered early.
Traders please contact our trade team on trade@wheelsday.net as usual to register your interest to trade at the show. Please make contact asap as we only have a limited number of spaces and they go very fast.
The "Car Club" format is having a slight change this year. In the previous 4 years it has been an ever growing part of the show evolving around car clubs attending to display together. Unfortunately we felt the purpose of the displays began to get lost in the sheer numbers of cars being placed on a stand which wasnt what we had planned with the club stands being introduced, nor was it helping to promote the club's and improve membership numbers within our sport. As such this year we have decided to limit the club stands to a maximun of 20 club displays of 15 cars maximum with an emphasis on "best of display". As was introduced 2 years ago there will be a "Best Car Club Display" trophy awarded to the best display of vehicles on the stand. Each club will be judged not just on the quality, type, rarity and condition of the vehicles on display but equally important is how the club displays to the public. Club banners and gazebos will be allowed as long as they are not excessive and do not obstruct the view across the show field and are securely anchored (this is your responsibility!)
If you wish to apply please contact Andrew at clubs@wheelsday.net with your details of club, how many places you would like (max 15 vehicles), the types of vehicles to be on display and info on any banners, etc. The pitch area will be decided on numbers and types of vehicle to display allowing space for gazebos etc. As with previous years, payment will be required in full within 4 weeks of the show for your stand from the club chairman/representative applying and singerly entered show cars will not be allowed to park on a club stand irrespective of space or area and will be sent to single show car parking.
As always, thank you all for your continued support and here’s to a great 2019 show!
Price is £10 per show vehicle and up to 2 people (driver and passenger)
Bikes are £5 and can pay on the day.
Viewing public pay on entry to the arena.

Re: Wheels Day 2019 April 19th
Interesting how they want to develop the show by putting less cars on the field, personally it’s the sheer quantity and variety that has made this a must do for me for years, progress eh?
I’m a bit short on ideas beyond what we did previously, props need to be portable too.
I can supply a large quantity of bunting and I have twenty or so road spikes if you want to make a “pitch”. We could dress up in sheepskin jackets and trilby hats, heavy on the gold too. I think the idea of a gazebo is a good one too to provide a focal point for any prospective members. I have one of those too.
The only thing I would say is it would look good with a lot of shoe whitening writing on the screens, the more we put on perhaps lessens the chances of continuously being asked if all the club cars are for sale,or is that a vain hope?
