We can be grateful that you always take many pics of sooo many cars , so what are my stand outs , ( other than the mopars ), got to be the big Merc Coupes , GT40's of course , love the Capri's especially the Pirana , and the totally devine blue Maserati coupe , think I would be happy taking that home !
Thanks fellas

Hi Matt
Glad you picked up on the Bolwell Nagari. For the uninitiated they were built in Australia in the early 70s. Powered by small block Ford engines and coupled to a lightweight chassis and a fibreglass body they were a quick car in their day. That particular car belongs to Justin Murphy who wanted one as a lad (he’s Australian himself) he races it, as well as driving it on the road. We did a lot of work for him including building a stout 302 and making it FIA legal. I have a short video of him leaving the workshop in a fairly enthusiastic manner !

Yes lovely unusual car and rapid too. I was there when it pulled away, obviously late for his dinner .

It is a very nice restored car.
I am sure the owner can fill you in on the details.
It is a tribute car but in very good condition, Dana 60, etc.
"Thunder Road Cars" sorted out some suspension / Geo issues; and also rebuilt the engine completely when there was an internal failure.

Let’s see if the owner posts it on here, assuming he’s a member.
Thanks for the info.

He is a member, but I don't think he posts often, if at all...

Martin, that is really interesting that you have knowledge and input into the Nagari. I love my odd stuff, especially Oz stuff and this just ticked all the boxes. You don't know anyone with Torana L34 or SLR 5000 over here do you?? I'd love to see one for real.

Hi Matt
I don’t know of a Torana or SLR but I will ask Justin, the owner of the Bolwell as he’s well into that stuff. Only really got involved with his car because we have done quite a lot of historic racing particularly with FIA cars. Certainly an interesting car although it was a bit of a horror story when he first bought it !
