When an event turns like this, it signals there car show downfall to me, brands hatch is massive inside, think there breif will be not to many classic cars, but a bigger area for dodgems/stalls/merry go round and any other mind numbing crap you see at every event, shame on them
No doubt this will end up like the american at newark where the classic cars slowly dissappered every year to be replaced by junk attractions
life is not a spectator sport

Totally agree. This year there were a lot more hot dog stands in the prime locations, where the cars were parked in previous years. And the owners crappy vans parked up close by.

I wonder if MSV are doing this as they’re not earning enough from ticket sales, as so many people come in on free tickets with their yanks.

I know it's early days, but the list that ASF have sent to me shows that so far there are only have 15 car owners who have applied for MMA parking at this event. :( :( :(

No payment for driver and a passenger gets a 50% discount if you have one.

Just been accepted. On the website it directs you to a 50% discount on your entry ticket. It’s not that clear that the Driver gets free entry.

Yes, very confusing. Took me a while to see that you need a ticket OR a vehicle pass to get in. Discount only seems to apply to first extra ticket too.

I think they’re counting on display drivers buying a ticket by accident. I phoned up MSV to check and we don’t need to buy a ticket.
