Yes it is, we had hail last year as well as sunshine. As a venue it's 100% better than arena IMO.

yes the venue was great last year but the queue to get in has put us off, as non-essential attendees. ie there's nothing we're desperate to buy or sell so won't be going this year. As a social event tho it's a great one to get kick the year off and meet up with new and old friends :thumbright:

I'll be there after missing a couple of years, looking for fiddly Barracuda bits like UJ bolts and straps, brake hardware, pipe fittings that kind of thing, and trying not to get tempted into buying things I can't afford or that turn out to be broken when I get them home (as usual)

See you there

We're going with a Chevy shopping list.
Apparently the queue problem is sorted for this year, so pay on foot once parked.

A bit easier getting in to the car park than last year....about 10 minutes to trickle in around 9ish. The que to pay in though....they have to process people quicker. Maybe they should look to sell tickets on line before??

Was a good day, weather held till about 2pm when its starting to die down anyway. I have noticed there seems to be far less of the odd bods that turn up with a whole truck load of unsaleable scrap that you used to get at Arena. North Weald does seem to have brought out the sellers that have decent stuff for sale. I did notice the punters are still very keen on £2 used rad hoses that they don't seem very sure will actually be of any use to them...
