The guy arranging, Steve Prime (Charger Super Bee), came up with the route, gave us maps and laid on some drinks & snacks for later - what a guy!
We met on the green at Barrington - where they (used to have) have regular summer months Friday-night classic car meets - and as the pub is now open, Steve said the car meets are starting up again soon too.
I thought there might be 10 cars but by the time we set off for the cruise there were about 30, which raised plenty of eyebrows and smiles on the hour long drive round the area.
Not sure if it was an Independence Day celebration or just cos the pub was open but it was a good excuse to blow off some cobwebs. Talking of cobwebs, even Pete Tucker was there!
